As a postgraduate pharmacy student, Sharron’s answer to exam stress was the biscuit tin. And the chocolate box. And the fridge. The strain of planning her wedding in July 2003 only made things worse, and by the time her son was born the following year, she was well over 14st.

Knowing that baby Matthew needed a fit and healthy mum, Sharron joined Claire Henderson’s Slimming World group in Hedge End, Hampshire. A year later, she was at her target weight – and eating healthily had become so much a part of her life that even another pregnancy couldn’t keep her from her target weight for long!
